It Speaks to Me is based on the works of poet and Broadside Press founder, Dudley Randall. The play concerns a teenager who discovers the writings of Mr. Randall. The cast is composed of seven Metro Detroit middle and high school students performing poems and dramatizing one of the writer’s short stories. Families are encouraged to bring children, aged 10 and up. Followed by a brief talkback, the one-act play will enjoy two public performances:

6:30 PM, Saturday, April 29 at Plymouth United Church of Christ in Detroit;

6 PM, Friday, May 19 at the Lathrup Village City Hall.
